20 years of Tekken history celebrated in this video with the Tekken 7 trailer straight after - it's been a year since I originally saw this at the Tokyo Game show 2014 !

Tekken's new Pinoy character - Josie

Breaking news from CNN Philippines is addition of new female Pinoy character Josie to the Tekken 7!

After much from Lucky Chloe it is great to see more female characters. Though I must say her head is a little small compared to the rest of her body or is it just me?! Designed by Bayonetta’s Mari Shimazaki. Harada even revealed some trivia on her character:

• Her name is inspired by the Philippines’ national hero: Jose Rizal.
• Her fighting style is a mix of eskrima and kickboxing.
• The initial feedback about her has been largely positive. Her name was even trending on Twitter.
• She has a sad background. She’s “a crybaby, but strong.” That’s why she cries of joy when she wins.

Tekken 7: New characters

The latest new character to be announced for the most anticipated fighting game of 2015, Tekken 7, is a break-dancing catgirl called Lucky Chloe.

During the Tekken 20th anniversary celebrations in Japan, Tekken chief Katsuhiro Harada revealed another new character to the roaster called Lucky Chloe. She has been added to the line up with Katarina, Claudio and Kazuya Mishima’s mother Kazumi.

There is very limited information on the characters at present but I will update when Harada -san discloses biographies. There is also an Middle Eastern character not named but wearing Arab attire.
